Matt Dallas, the actor most famous for his lead role on the hit ABC Family series "Kyle XY," has officially come out as a gay man, announcing that he is engaged to musician Blue Hamilton.
The 30 year-old TV star tweeted the happy news early this morning, along with a snapshot of his fiancé and adorable pup.

"Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton," he wrote. "A great way to kick off 2013!"
Hamilton is a 25 year-old indie record producer who has worked with Justin Bieber, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The pair has reportedly been dating since 2009, but this seems to be the first public acknowledgement of Dallas's sexuality.
Former "Kyle XY" co-star and close friend April Matson tweeted, "congrats my love!!" in response earlier today.

Though the striking blue-eyed actor has starred in relatively minor roles since the end of ‘Kyle XY,’ Dallas is rumored to have a role on the upcoming ABC Family comedy series "Baby Daddy."
