Look out, Hollyoaks — Dodger’s family are heading your way!

Former Coronation Street star Jeremy Sheffield is returning to soapland to play Dodger Savage’s biological father, Patrick Blake.

And he’ll be joined in the village by Emily Lawrence, who will star as Sienna — the twin sister Dodger (Danny Mac) never knew he had.

Jeremy becomes the second former Street star to sign up for Hollyoaks in as many weeks, following the announcement that Nikki Sanderson — who played Corrie hairdresser Candice Stowe — will make her debut as Mitzeee’s sister Maxine Minniver next month.

”I’m very happy to be joining Hollyoaks at a time when things are getting very exciting...” says Jeremy, 46, who memorably thrilled soap fans at the start of the year as Danny Stratton, who swept Becky McDonald off her feet and away from Weatherfield for a new life in Barbados.

Cheers... Jeremy as Corrie's Danny
Dodger was devastated earlier this year when an old family friend revealed that Dirk was not his real dad.

An he’s been suffering an identity crisis ever since.

Now, viewers will see him at last embark on a mission to find his real dad — and he gets even more than he bargained for when he learns he also has a twin sister.

“Joining Hollyoaks is going to be fun and a great experience for me," says newcomer Emily. “It goes without saying that working with Jeremy is brilliant.”

The dramatic storyline will play out on our screens from 19 November.
