"Torchwood" and "Arrow" star John Barrowman marries in California

John Barrowman (Torchwood, Doctor Who, Arrow) today married his partner of over 20 years, Scott Gill, in California. Check out a video below that the couple posted to Twitter on their way to their ceremony.

Last Wednesday, June 26, the Supreme Court struck down a key section of the so-called "Defense of Marriage Act" and restored marriage equality to California with the end of Prop. 8. Two days later, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit lifted its stay and marriage equality resumed in California immediately.

Congratulations to John and Scott, and all other couples now able to be legally married in the state of California!
